CAPE COD CHAPTER of the NEW ENGLAND PGA SECTION CONSTITUTION, POLICIES & PROCEDURESOur Purpose and Direction The Cape Cod Chapter will function to serve the best interest of membership at a local level. The Chapter will provide an education association for its members through meetings and tournaments. It will provide credit, at the local level, for the Professional Development Program. Also, it will promote junior golf through the Chapter Junior Golf Association and other vehicles. Our Chapter Territory The Chapter Territory will include the entire area south and east of "The Bridge" plus the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The Part of Plymouth County bounded on the north by Rte 44, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by Rte 140 at the intersection of Rte 44 southerly on 140 near Turners Pond, then southeasterly east of Fairhaven and New Bedford to the ocean. PGA members and registered apprentices in the Apprentice Program that are recognized by the Section as eligible, may become members of the Chapter. PGA members may vote at annual meetings. Our Chapter Officers The Board of the Cape Cod Chapter shall consist of five officers. Officers will be elected annually, at the fall meeting, by a majority vote of the members present. Nominations will be accepted b the Board in advance, or, from the floor at the meeting. Any member that satisfies the criteria for holding office under the PGA Constitution may be elected a Chapter Officer. The term for any officer has a length of one year, and the number of terms an officer may serve is indefinite. The Officers will consist of:
